Is it time to enhance your career?

There is a high demand for Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRPs) throughout Australia.

Family Dispute Resolution is compulsory in fulfilling the requirements for the Australian Family Court prior to family court orders.  This qualification enables Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners to issue the required 60i Certificate to the Family Court of Australia.

We are now enrolling for the November 2018 intake.

Although additional places have been added, in order to allow all participants to enjoy the personal availability of our assessors and delivery personnel, capacity will be limited for the November 2018 intake.

This intake time is perfect for those who want to take advantage of the summer holiday period to get ahead for qualification.  Enrolment is a very simple online process.  Please enquire about special tuition fee rates for Family Relationship Centres

A career in Family Dispute Resolution mediation as an FDRP…

A family dispute resolution (FDR) practitioner is an independent person who helps people affected by separation or divorce to resolve their parenting disputes. As it is compulsory for couples to attend an FDR practitioner prior to attending the Family Court of Australia, FDRPs are in high demand and is an excellent career path for mediation professionals.

To be qualified as an FDR practitioner you must meet the accreditation standards in the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2008. The Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution will meet this requirement and allow the FDRP to issue section 60I certificates, which are required by the Family Court of Australia.

Pathway to Masters of Conflict Management and Resolution

Unique to the Mediator Training Academy, participants who complete the CHC81115 Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution will receive credit for 4 subjects of the Master qualification with James Cook University.  This equates to one third of the Master requirements.
