25 February 2025: Pre mediation.. are you getting enough out of your intake?

This presentation will look at the intake, and more importantly how to get the best out of the intake so that the parties are well prepared for the mediation with appropriate referral and a range of options. Intake should also allow the mediator to develop a hypothesis to take into the mediation. This webinar will examine these aspects and consider strategies and interventions.

This webinar will revisit the important aspects of AMDRAS training , for those who wanted to get’ refreshed’ and make sure their practice is up to date and meeting the necessary requirements.

27 May 2025: Get your ‘top triangle’ secure and the mediation will flow

This webinar will highlight and analyse the importance of the ‘top triangle’ , if a mediator can solidify the top triangle, it will set both the parties and the mediation up for success. The presentation will look at the importance of the opening statements , common ground and agenda and what are the pitfalls that a mediator may experience.

24 June 2025: Exploration.. facilitate and find out the essence of the mediation.

The exploration stage done well , will be the foundation for the parties being able to move on and negotiate possible resolutions. Unless the parties are moved from their wants to their needs and interests in the exploration stage , then any possible agreements may not be sustainable. This webinar will identify interventions and skills to make exploration as effective as possible.

26 August 2025: Private session v Shuttle, what is the difference?

This webinar will look at use of private session in mediation and what is difference between private sessions in mediations and shuttle mediation. The structure of each will be discussed and how and when they should used for parties and their matters.

23 September 2025: Complaints.. managing and learning from them

No one wants to receive a complaint, but it can be a learning opportunity if handled right. This webinar will look at how complaints arise and how they may be prevented. It will also look at the process to follow if a complaint will arise. Reference will be made to AMDRAS and how to work with the standards.
