This presentation will look at the intake, and more importantly how to get the best out of the intake so that the parties are well prepared for the mediation with appropriate referral and a range of options. The exploration stage done well , will be the foundation for the parties being able to move on and negotiate possible resolutions. Unless the parties are moved from their wants to their needs and interests in the exploration stage , then any possible agreements may not be sustainable.
